I have to say that last year GAME’s “Half Price Sale” was a lot better than any sale this year… or am I moaning too early?
If nothing better comes around, than it is online shopping for me and with no queues.
My work involves network security and recently we have been asked to investigate support for online video games. One thing is for sure that security and video games don’t go well… A lot of the information that you needed are not available on the official sites and without the actual media and hardware it is difficult to support some products.
Most commonly requested game in our case is World of Warcraft (if it was up to me I would leave it blocked) and even if it is hosted on dedicated servers it is difficult to implement. The worst part is Blizzard downloader which is using torrent protocol to update… by permitting Blizzard downloader we would be creating vulnerability on the network that can be used to tunnel illegal torrent traffic or in some cases even worst.
What are your opinions about this? Is it worth the hassle or is it easier just to allow most requested media?
Just came across a post on Kotaku about personalized Styluses ![]()
It looks good, but is DS worthy of it?

Anyways, it is Film and Comic Con weekend in london! More details can be found at http://www.londonfilmandcomiccon.com/ Will you be there?
Just got my copy of “The Sky Crawlers” anime. It is based on a novel series about young fighter pilots involved in dogfights for private corporations in staged combat operations against each other for commercial entertainment.
The animation is 3D Computer Animation and is very similar to Sky Blue (Wonderful Days). The anime is 2 hours long but well worth the time to watch.
There is also a game for a Wii based on the anime. The game is named “The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces” and is currently available to buy in Japan.
I guess i wont have to finish the first game after all, I can read the story in the novel.
You can pre-order yours at randomhouse.com
